We can often hear other people discuss laminate flooring in our lives, so what exactly is our laminate flooring? Laminate flooring is mainly composed of four parts: wear-resistant layer, decorative layer, base layer and balance layer. The advantages of laminate flooring are wear resistance: about 10 to 30 times that of ordinary painted flooring; various wood grains, patterns and colors can be simulated by computer. It completely breaks up the original wood structure, destroys the anisotropy and wet expansion and shrinkage characteristics, and is extremely stable in size, especially suitable for rooms with floor heating systems. Next, I will introduce these four layers in detail:

Level one

Wear-resistant layer. It is mainly composed of aluminum oxide, which has strong wear resistance and hardness. Some laminate flooring composed of melamine cannot meet the requirements of the standard.

Second floor

Decoration layer. It is a layer of paper impregnated with melamine resin with wood grain or other patterns imitating precious tree species printed on the paper.

The third floor

Grassroots. It is a medium-density or high-density laminate. After high temperature and high pressure treatment, it has certain moisture-proof and flame-retardant properties. The basic material is wood fiber.

Fourth floor

Balance layer. It is a layer of kraft paper with a certain strength and thickness and impregnated with resin to prevent moisture and floor deformation.
