1. To get the best look, remove the toilet first.
You need to remove the toilet first and install the aquaguard flooring to get the best look. Making perfectly round cuts in the edge of the toilet can be extremely challenging. It is almost impossible to make the edge disappear. If you are not too concerned about the finished look, you can install the flooring with the toilet. However, if you want the best result, take the extra step of removing the toilet first.

(1) Call a plumber. Plumbers can be expensive because their knowledge is priceless. Calling a plumber to remove the toilet is the safest way to go. However, you can also call a plumber to give you some tips before you start.
(2) Turn off the water. You always need to turn off the water before removing the toilet. You don't have to turn off the water to the entire hotel, just the water supply to the toilet. You can usually find the shut-off valve on the water supply pipe directly below the toilet tank. If it is not there, check the wall behind the toilet.
(3) Have replacement bolts and a new wax seal on hand. Ensure replacement bolts and a new wax seal before removing the toilet. You will need them to secure the toilet back when you finish.

2. Once the toilet is removed, you are ready to install the aquaguard flooring around the toilet drain. These ten steps will guide you through the process.

(1) Cover the drain. Even if the toilet is gone, there is still a drain to worry about. Put a cloth inside the drain to prevent gas from coming up through the drain. It will also protect and prevent anything from falling down the drain.
(2) Remove the skirting. Remove the skirting so you can put the liner on the wall.
(3) Replace or install the antibacterial liner. This is the perfect opportunity to replace the existing liner whenever you remove the skirting. If not, now is the perfect time to install one. Since you're working in a bathroom, choosing an antibacterial liner that will prevent bacteria from growing under your aquaguard flooring is a smart idea.
(4) Cut a hole in the liner slightly larger than the flange. You want to ensure you leave a small space around the toilet flange in the liner. This will allow you to place a silicone seal between the flange and the toilet to prevent water damage.
(5) Start laying the aquaguard flooring. Begin laying the aquaguard flooring as you would in any other room until you reach the flange.
(6) Create a circular paper template. Measure the dimensions of the flanges. Then, plot these exact measurements on a piece of paper to create the paper template.
(7) Track the dimensions of the flange on the aquaguard flooring. Arrange a piece of laminate floor on the flange and trace the location of the holes using the paper template and a pencil.
(8) Cut using a jigsaw. Cut the aquaguard flooring to fit any space.
(9) Add a waterproof seal around the flange and the edge of the laminate floor. After laying the aquaguard flooring, add waterproof seals around the edges of the flooring and flanges to seal it all in place.
(10) Reinstall the skirting and toilet. Once the seal is dry, and everything is complete, it's time to reinstall the skirting and toilet.

One of the most important decisions you must make is choosing the right aquaguard flooring for the job.
