1. Density (g/cm³)
This refers to the quality of laminate flooring substrate. The substrate used for laminate flooring is a medium and high-density board made of wood fibre and glue paste by high temperature and high-pressure pressing. The higher the density, the better the substrate quality, such as impact resistance and compression resistance.

2. Surface wear resistance (R)
This indicator is the more publicity on the market for laminate flooring, and consumers are more concerned about the indicators. Since China does not yet have a national standard for laminate flooring, the indicators measured by different testing methods often have large differences. One test method is to detect the initial wear resistance value according to the EN438 standard (means grinding through the surface pattern); another is to detect the final wear resistance value (means grinding to reveal the substrate). Wear resistance indicators are generally measured in revolutions; of course, the higher, the better.

3. Formaldehyde release
Refers to the release of free formaldehyde. This is an environmental indicator. The national standard of formaldehyde emission of composite flooring will be introduced soon, revealing that the new standard is qualified for 30mg/100g. The A grade (superior) is 9mg/100g.
For formaldehyde emissions, consumers do not have to talk about the tiger. In fact, in home decoration, there are materials containing free formaldehyde everywhere, such as paints, coatings, furniture, flooring, plywood, glue, etc. The formaldehyde emissions of these materials are qualified products as long as they meet national standards.

4. static flexural strength (Mpa)
This is an indicator to detect the ability of laminate flooring to resist bending and deformation and is also one of the important indicators of laminate flooring performance. The higher the value of this indicator, the stronger the bending deformation resistance of the floor.

5. Internal bonding strength
Detecting the bonding strength between several levels of laminate flooring is an indicator.

6. Water absorption thickness expansion rate (%)
It can be said that this is one of the most important technical indicators to test the laminate flooring. Compared with the original wood flooring, the most obvious advantage of laminate flooring is wear resistance and non-deformation. And water absorption thickness expansion rate of high and low is to determine whether the laminate flooring will be deformed by moisture and the size of the deformation of important factors. The absorption thickness expansion rate is high, and the floor moisture resistance is poor. Moisture deformation is large; the Absorption thickness expansion rate is low. laminate flooring after the moisture deformation is small, moisture resistance is strong, and product quality is better.

7. Water content (%)
This indicator can be almost negligible. Within 10% of the product, the moisture content is quite low.

8. Surface resistance to cigarette burns
This test results without specific values, and the surface with or without black spots, cracks, bulging, etc., as a mark, is also one of the requirements for testing the quality of laminate flooring, whether flame retardant or cigarette burn resistance.

9. Surface impact resistance performance (mm)
This is also one of the important indicators of the quality of laminate flooring. This refers to the same conditions, the floor under test to withstand the impact of the steel ball after leaving traces of the size of the diameter. The smaller this value, the stronger the impact resistance of the product.
