Different from the past, today's SPC floor of Richwood is full of possibilities, styles and levels. Vinyl flooring is one of the most popular flooring options on the market. Typically, vinyl is made from artificial materials, similar to natural materials such as wood and stone, as compared to composite flooring.
Stone plastic composite, solid polymer core, or SPC flooring, is a vinyl flooring material that has a rigid core made from powdered limestone, polyvinyl chloride, and stabilizers. Sometimes, you might see it referred to as “stone polymer composite flooring.” It is dense, dimensionally stable, quiet and strong. Pure from Richwood are great options in this category and both include an attached pad.
It used to be accepted that the thicker vinyl flooring, the better. But with rigid core vinyl, the thickness of the vinyl really doesn't matter.
Now, SPC flooring supplier-Richwood has created an ultra-thin, ultra-durable option. Rigid core luxury vinyl wood panels are specially manufactured, ultra-thin, typically up to 6 mm thick, and have ultra-hard core and stability.
So what makes this floor so good? This is a hierarchical structure. SPC rigid core luxury vinyl flooring usually consists of four layers.

SPC Consists Of Multiple Layers, Including:
- A
UV Coating: used to cover the decorative film on the SPC floor to prevent discoloration in the sun near the window or other environment. You can adjust the gloss of the floor surface. Extruded floor surfaces are dull and uncomfortable, but treated with UV coating to perfectly adjust the level of reflected light on the floor surface. At the same time UV coating can also enhance the surface wear resistance. It has a ceramic composition that makes the surface scratch resistant.
- B
Wear-resisting Layer: like the bodyguard of the plank, it protects your floor from wear and tear. Speaking of a wear layer, thicker still means better. SPC floors typically have a thick option to provide additional protection.
- C
Printed Vinyl Base: the layer features ultra-realistic photo images that make the vinyl look much like stone and wood.
- D
SPC Core: contains a solid, water-resistant core that does not ripple or expand no matter how much liquid on the floor. This core is very dense and does not contain blowing agents from conventional WPC flooring. It gives you a slight drop in softness under your feet, but it makes the floor more durable.
- E
Support Layer: this is a solid foundation for your plank. Usually, the backing layers will also have a pre-attached pad.

It all comes from EIR Surface.
